The front end is starting to look attractive, especially with that M-sport front bumper. Still looks saggy and undersized, though. Love the interior.

Looks good. Last year I put a deposit down for a 1M. Didn't score the build allocation. I was thinking of waiting for the new 3 series coupe.

I wanted a 1M but the numbers didn't work out. I still kinda regret it (could have gotten a spot) but I've been driving a ton and I would have felt bad putting 25k miles a year on a 1M and beating up a rare car like that.

The real life photos of the car have impressed me. Bill Auberlen and Joey Hand have posted videos behind the wheel of the 328 and 335 - cool to watch them driving it around Laguna Seca.

I hear you re miles. I'm encountering a similar situation now. Problem is I'm addicted to great wheels and can't stand the beater anymore.

BTW, did you see this video regarding the choice of the N54 engine? Had me laughing for days.

yup! haha but that whole thing is so played out now

Re: miles... yeah, I'm not into driving a "beater" either, but I felt a lot less guilty about racking up a ton of miles on a regular E92 vs. doing it on a special car like the 1M.
