2013 Porsche Boxster
This car is on my bucket list... I think they did a nice job evolving the design, but until I see it in person, I think I like the 2nd generation a little more.

That's kinda the point. The first gen, and I think the second gen, share components with 911. Kinda like the 2nd-4th gen Golf/Jetta cars. Cuts costs.

It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow

Lol I can almost 100% guarantee that this car doesn't share a single part with the Carrera GT.

No, but it isn't that strange to find a 986 with a 996 front bumper, or a 987 with a 997 bumper. I'd even like it if it didn't extend the front overhang so much.
