FS: 2001 BMW 540iA Sport

2001 BMW 540iA Sport, 97k miles, Southern California

Jet Black/Black Leather, Sport Package, 97k miles, Steptronic 5 speed automatic, sport seats, multi-function M sport steering wheel and 17inch staggered style 32 factory wheels were just refinished with brand new tires. Front/Rear brakes and rotors were just completed with all new front/rear suspension. Installed ECS stainless steel brake lines (6) and has upgraded stereo with 10 speakers and RDS. Replaced valve cover and upper timing gaskets. Powder coated the valve covers black and replaced the power steering hoses. The cooling system was completely replaced as preventative maintenance at 86k miles. The car is owned by an enthusiast and there is no deferred maintenance. The engine and transmission run and shifts smoothly and has tons of power.

I am the second owner and have all maintenance records to show how well maintained this car has been. This is an awesome car and is only being replaced by a new BMW.

I'm looking at a '11 BMW 328i. It's a bit smaller and will be better on fuel. The 540i is a blast to drive.

Additionally when the 540i needs repair I cannot perform it myself since I keep it in So. Cali to use when caring for my dad. And a new one will have the warranty so I can take it in for service anywhere and not worry about additional costs other than my payment.

If you know of anyone interested let me know. I'm willing to make a great deal. At this point the car needs nothing other than a new owner who will enjoy him like I do.

Are you buying this month? The end of year deals are very aggressive right now.

I may be buying tonight. We're discussing it. I've been approved for a very low lease option.

I just have to decide if I want the new car or not. This is replacing my California car so for as much use as it gets their dangling a very good lease deal my way.

Plus I will not have any maintenance costs. Which for someone as picky about cars as myself that's a very good thing.
