Hi Everyone! Just discovered this group. Pretty cool Smile

I live in Oakland, CA and I'm very much into Volvos! I have two of them. I love cars in general but my heart is with Volvo forever.

Anyone else on here from the Bay Area?

V70R Wagon 6-speed is one of my favorite Volvos. Sm4

Hi Everyone - thanks for all replies & compliments! The V70R is a special car for sure...and discontinued. 'R Design' just isn't the same...

Awesome R man. I have a strangely distinct memory of driving next to one of those (and I think it was the R) when they first came out, and I was just stunned by the size of the brakes! Caught me off guard - a Volvo wagon with THOSE brakes!?

That's great you have the manual transmission. Gotta love that very strange 'hard' shiftboot!
