I look forward to hearing about everyone's experiences with car care, maintenance, racing and more.
Are there any groups that meet up for weekend drives? I currently own '06 BMW X5 4.8is and '01 BMW 540i Sport. I've had the pleasure or not so pleasure of owning the following: 1969 Simca 1100 (still miss this one) 1950 Ford F150 pickup 1974 Pinto Wagon (high school) 1971 Mercury Comet w/302 (high school) 1974 Plymouth Duster w/slant 6 (awesome car) 1984 Honda Civic DX Hatchback 1991 Honda Civic LX Sedan 1996 Honda Civic EX Sedan 1980 Triumph TR7 Drop Head (broke the bank) 1999 BMW 323i Sedan 2000 Toyota Limited Extra Cab 4x4 2004 BMW X5 3.0 2006 BMW X5 4.8is (current) 2001 BMW 540i Sport (current) 2000 Jeep Wrangler (partners truck) I'm not sure what's in my future as we have a beautiful daughter that we need to see through college However I think she'll look good in a bimmer too![]() Cheers, David |

RE: New member from Portland Oregon
Welcome. We have a high-percentage of BMW enthusiasts.
![]() We do not have enough members just yet to sustain events in the Portland area, but there are plans to extend the forum with regional sub-forums and regional events once we have enough members. GCF is pretty young as far as car forums go - this September is our first anniversary! I look forward to reading your input on the forums.

Cool list of cars, especially the 4.8is. I love driving behind those and admiring the steamroller rear tires!

If you google "bent car guys" you'll find their forum, and you can sign up for email newsletter/updates. No shoes, no shirt, and I still get service. Wah! |
